In 2018, MMDC began conversations with Cleveland Street's Viet Hoa Market on a facade improvement and expansion project.

Coming soon: Los Comales, the Mexican restaurant, finds its next location at Stop 345 in the Edge District. The space is double the size of the Midtown Los Comales.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and its construction partner Flintco have filed two building permits to begin erecting the shells of two new towers on its campus.

Years of hard work are paying off for the Memphis Medical District.  Over the past year the community has seen 10 new businesses established, including one by a Memphis-native.

The home of the Memphis Medical District Collaborative at 656 Madison Ave. was awarded a $40,000 grant to begin to match the growing Edge District neighborhood around it.

Through the project, the Memphis Medical District Collaborative is on a mission to “add some vibrancy” to the area.
