Years of hard work are paying off for the Memphis Medical District. Over the past year the community has seen 10 new businesses established, including one by a Memphis-native.
The home of the Memphis Medical District Collaborative at 656 Madison Ave. was awarded a $40,000 grant to begin to match the growing Edge District neighborhood around it.
Through the project, the Memphis Medical District Collaborative is on a mission to “add some vibrancy” to the area.
Groove On-Demand was launched in 2021 with the goal of providing affordable transportation to key Downtown corridors. But the service has seen its popularity spike this year as gas prices in the Mid-South hit record highs.
