Memphis Medical District Collaborative (MMDC) is thrilled to spotlight the wave of Black-owned businesses transforming our community this National Black Business Month!

HOTWORX Edge District has been making (the safe kind of heat)waves throughout the Edge neighborhood, drawing the vibrant attention to the Medical District since its launch in 2022, and other neighborhoods are boasting bold moves as well!

The Latest

Groovy Gratitude, Evolve Pilates, and Mane Wildling, have gone viral highlighting a wellness trifecta that's revitalizing the district. Malone Park Commons is turning heads nationally, recently earning recognition in Forbes magazine!

Memphis Jamaican Kitchen joined the Medical District earlier this year, delighting taste buds with authentic flavors created by a local Memphian and her Jamaican husband, and Cre8 Content Studio, owned by a dynamic mother-daughter duo, allow audiences to turn their visions in to reality on social media and beyond,

Contemporary Arts Memphis continues to enrich our cultural landscape with diverse artistic expressions.

These vibrant establishments are gaining tremendous momentum, attracting visitors from across the city and beyond, while making the Medical District an increasingly inviting destination for everyone!
