MMDC's Keesa Mitchell Honored as "Superwoman in Business"
October 1, 2025

Our own Keesa Mitchell, Vice President of Operations at Memphis Medical District Collaborative, has been recognized by Memphis Business Journal as one of its "Superwomen in Business" for 2025.

The celebration, held September 30 at Memphis Botanic Garden, brought together this year's exceptional honorees alongside previous recipients. Independent Bank President Susan Stephenson presented each superwoman with commemorative capes and elegant glass awards during the ceremony.

In true Keesa fashion, her acceptance speech was both energetic and distinctive. When given 30 seconds to share her thanks and describe her superpower, Keesa delivered a memorable declaration: "I don't have a superpower; I AM a superpower."

This recognition highlights our vice president's outstanding contributions not only to MMDC but to the broader Memphis business community. Her leadership continues to strengthen our organization and advance our mission in the Medical District.

Please join us in congratulating Keesa and several other superwomen across the Medical District on this well-deserved honor!
