The Department City and Regional Planning and the School of Urban Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Memphis is partnering with the Memphis Medical District Collaborative (MMDC) to re-imagine the Medical District Park.

Planning teams led by students invite residents and the medical district's stakeholders to share their stories, memories, and ideas about the park and neighborhood to guide the park’s design and purpose. This process aims to ensure the park respectfully acknowledges its history, while creating a shared space for healing, caring, reconciliation, and community connections.
